Sand Trax Tours

The desert excursion is a must while in Dubai. The driver reached out the morning of my reservation. The driver John was prompt during pickup. The tour was well organized. Ample time was allotted for all of the activities. The BBQ and camp experience was lots of fun.

John was out guide/driver and he was just professional and knowledgable. His driving skills were amazing but safe at the same time. We really enjoyed that he explained our whole day out from start to finish and when things had a minor change he would explain why. But in all we got to do all the activities listed. (Sand dunes in the SUV, camel ride, ATV ride, falcon pics, shisha, sunset pics, henna, performers, food) John was very patient and took the time to take all the pictures we wanted and even helped us when different videos/poses! The performers were just great and interactive with the crowd. Food was traditional and tasty. The Knight Tours was great and I would recommend 10000x

Thoroughly brilliant. From start to finish. We packed in so much stuff! I travelled solo and I’m pretty socially uncomfortable but I had a fantastic time with the group I met in my tour group - they were a family of 5.

I was picked up very promptly from my hotel, and we headed to the next hotel to pick up the rest of the group, then we made our way to the dessert.

We explored the sand dunes, then rode camels, then quad biked, then had a brilliant evening of performances from belly dancers and other traditional entertainers as we sat and had a delicious assortment of food. Considering how many tour groups were there, I was impressed by how much food was still available. We each were all able to go for seconds and more.

After the show, we were driven back to our hotels so no need to worry about transport to and fro. Everything was taken care of.

As a solo girl traveller, I felt safe throughout and well taken care of. Well done!

The adventure begin with driving the Toyota mini van through the dunes. The camel ride after the arrival to the camp had a calming effect. The ATV/Quads ride during the sunset was really great. The welcoming snacks were authentic, the BBQ dinner was filling. The highlight of show was the belly dancing. Overall, satisfying evening. The driver was a pro. Riding the dunes requires lots of skills.

Desert Safari Experience

We had booked the Desert Safari back in November which included the ATV/quad bikes, BBQ dinner and camel rides with 4 shows. Our tour guide Ghulam made our experience very memorable. He answered all our questions, was very attentive and friendly. He went above and beyond to capture our experience and was a safe driver. Thank you Ghulam! Definitely would recommend.

The desert ride was not very exciting. It was not in coordination with other cars. We sat around for an hour waiting on the show and food . This time could have been used for a better quad bike ride or longer camel ride. The food was not good . I cannot say other tours are good or not but this was eh?
